Hard Enamel Finish

This is the traditional manufacturing method of badge making. Each enamel colour is oven baked at high temperature, air dried and then hand polished.
Although it is the most time consuming method, it produces the highest quality badge.

The original technique was developed by the Chinese more than 6,000 years ago to make prestige ornaments.  Cloisonné items stand more as collectible jewels than just basic promotional gifts.  Hard Enamel being a glass like material, Cloisonné pins last for a lifetime.

can be easily scratched or

damaged. An epoxy protective coating is required to ensure durability.

Iron Stamped (PAINT FILLED)

This manufacturing process has the appearance of Soft Enamel , yet can be incorporated onto a thinner base material. Perfect for badges that need to be thin.

Iron Stamped with Soft Enamel is a cheap alternative among other stamping processes.  Although this attractive point, this process has limitations in its possibilities. The hardness of iron material restricts to small and simple designs.
Only soft enamel can be used.
